Christy Williams Named Among 50 Most Influential Women
Williams Honored by The Mecklenburg Times for Influence and Achievements

CHARLOTTE, NC. – April 8, 2011 – Christy Williams, Sales Manager for CC Communications, Inc., has been chosen as one of The Mecklenburg Times’ 2011 “50 Most Influential Women.” Christy and other honorees were selected for this award from a field of influential women in business, government, education and non-profit sectors. A panel of business leaders selected honorees for the award based on professional accomplishments and community involvement. The 50 Most Influential Women award is designed to recognize the important role women play in the local economy. Award winners were treated to a photo session in mid-March at The Fig Tree Restaurant in Uptown Charlotte. A free reception themed Denim & Diamonds was held on April 6th at the Charlotte City Club for all 2009 and 2010 Most Influential Women alumni and 2011 honorees prior to the main awards dinner. The official awards presentation will be held on May 6, 2011 at the Westin in Uptown Charlotte. Woman of the Year will also be announced at the awards ceremony. In addition, there will be a special publication distributed at the main awards event and inserted into The Mecklenburg Times.
